Europe To Get Standardised Charging Points

With electric cars ready to hit the showrooms this year Europe's electric vehicle market is already inline for an element of standardisation. Antonio Tajani, the European Industry Commissioner, has released plans to standardise charging points.
"This is no abstract concept, it's a set of 40 practical actions" he said "Electric cars are being keenly awaited by European citizens, it's important for those people to be abel to cross boarders and still charge their cars.
With senior authorities such as Antonio Tajani already looking to benefit the charging facilities across the continent it is evident that electric cars are going to become an integral part of motoring in the near future, I for one am looking forward to the next evolution of electric motoring to see if any manufacturer is capable of making a car with serious performance and convenience, and yes Tesla have made a good job at the performance side of things but a 16 hour battery charge...Seriously?
